ABOUT US

PFLAG is a national organization dedicated to creating a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ individuals and their loved ones. Through a nationwide network of supporters, members, and nearly 400 chapters, we support families, educate allies, and advocate for full equality.

The PFLAG Huntington Beach chapter began in 2025 as a call to action—to unite, uplift, and support the LGBTQ+ community in Huntington Beach and surrounding areas, including individuals, families, and allies.

We are a nonpartisan, nondenominational organization committed to helping families stay connected and fostering understanding through education, support, and advocacy. To fulfill this mission, our local chapter offers monthly support meetings, guest speaker events, community outreach, and resources for LGBTQ+ individuals and their loved ones in Huntington Beach and nearby communities.
